She recently made music her full-time career and is taking the Lawrence music scene by storm. She won first place in Best of Lawrence's Best Solo Musician category in 2020, started and hosts the Women’s Songwriter Showcase, an event gaining recognition in local media, and serves on the executive board of Lawrence’s Americana Music Academy. Megan has always loved music, and has been singing since before she can remember. She began playing the guitar around the age of 14 and immediately threw herself into songwriting. WFHB Radio (Bloomington, IN), describes her sound as, "a big country, Americana, blues-style voice. Her songs are beautifully powerful." Megan released her debut album "Broken Bottles" in June 2016, several singles from 2019-2021, and will release a new EP in 2022.
